My Miracle Morning #12

Today’s Miracle Morning:

Last night was hard. A fell asleep around 5 pm. Usually, this is no problem and he transfers into bed just fine and ends up sleeping straight through the night. But last night D laid him on the couch instead of his bed and when I went to put him in bed he woke up and did not want to sleep in his bed, this was around 9 pm. Nothing could get him to go back down so he stayed up. I got him a pbj and put on a quite show to help him zone out and fall back asleep. Nothing, finally at 11 pm I threw in the towel and went to bed and when D went to follow me A decided he did wanted to sleep with mama and dada. So he finally got to sleep.

This morning I have to deal with meeting with a new OBGYN and she won’t be as insensitive or as incompetent as the last one I tried. So with this in mind, I decided to go with Best Guided Meditation For Inner Strength ♥ Day 7 as our morning meditation.

For our (D joined me this morning) exercise Stress Relief Yoga ♥ A Relaxed & Calming Flow To Clear Your Mind.

I read a chapter in How to See Yourself As You Really Are by the Dalai Lama.

Affirmations:

  • I respond calmly and rationally when my son needs my attention.
  • When I see something out of place I put it away right then, I do not put it off until later.
  • I am a happy healthy person with lots of energy.
  • I am loving and affectionate towards my son and my husband.
  • I will be productive today.
  • I will do one thing today that will help reach financial freedom.
  • I am a strong and capable woman who is not afraid to speak up for what is right.
  • I will have a happy stress free day!

My visualization: Me and my family having a picnic in our backyard at a house we own all happy and smiling.

Now I am sitting down to write in my journal and this post.

I hope you have a wonderful day!

My Miracle Morning #10

Today’s Miracle Morning:

I am so proud of myself! I have made it ten days of waking up early and spending some time focused on me. So far I have noticed that I am more patient with my son and husband. My house has been staying cleaner even yesterday when I wasn’t feeling very good. I have gotten more work done the last ten days than I have in the previous month, and best of all my general mood and outlook on life is much more positive.

This morning I woke up at 5 am without a sore throat and only a little congestion. I completed my normal morning of taking my temp, washing face, brushing teeth and getting dressed. Then I asked D if he would like to join me for my meditation and yoga. He grumbled but got out of bed and joined me.

This morning we meditated togeather sitting on the floor back to back. Guided Meditation For Self-Acceptance ♥ Day 4

We then did some yoga Beginner Yoga ♥ Easy Morning Yoga For A Positive Mind. After this D went off to take a shower and get ready for the day and I did a little more yoga Yoga To Cure ♥ Revitalize & Energize Your Body.

  • I will have a happy stress free day!

My Miracle Morning #7

Today’s Miracle Morning:

Today marks a week of waking up early and taking the time to better and center myself. I have to say that it has made me a much happier and have had more energy this week than I have had in a long time. Less of the things that normally would have bothered me haven’t. My family is benefiting from my new found peace and patience, and I have seen it in both A who has been making a big improvement with potty training, and D who has had a more positive attitude and has been voluntarily helping out around the house.

This morning I got up at 5 am after five and a half hours of sleep. I probably could have used more sleep, but it was time to get up. After getting ready for the day a little sluggishly, I did my meditation. Easy Guided Meditation For Manifesting Dreams ♥ Day 8

My workout today was a long one. I woke up with really tight muscles so I concentrated on loosening them. Yin Yoga Class ♥ Best Yoga For Slow Deep Muscle Release and Yoga For Neck and Shoulder Pain – 20 Minute Beginners Yoga For Neck, Back, & Shoulder Pain.

I started a new book today How to See Yourself As You Really Are by the Dalai Lama.

My Miracle Morning #6

Today’s Miracle Morning:

Happy Thanksgiving!

Last night I was very fatigued. I had to do some grocery shopping in the afternoon because I fell asleep and took a nap the previous afternoon. Costco wasn’t too bad because most people were still at work or had shopped in the morning. But they were all out of pies and had no pumpkin. So I had to swing by the supermarket and they came through for me with pumpkin and I am going easy on myself and bought pie crusts. I also picked up cheesecake! So we are set for Thanksgiving. So I went to bed last night at 9 pm and got 8 hours of deep sleep. When I woke up at 5 am I was a little fuzzy headed but had no problems getting out of bed and getting ready for the day.

I started with meditation: Guided Meditation For Gratitude ♥ Day 2. I thought that meditating of gratitude was fitting for today.

Then after stopping to make A some eggs I did my exercises. Brazilian Butt Lift Challenge ♥ The Perfect Butt Workout and Yoga For Sore Glutes ♥ 5 Minute Miracle. Then A and I went and woke D up and he joined me for Beginner Yoga ♥ Easy Morning Yoga For A Positive Mind.

I finished reading Meditation for Beginners: How to Relieve Stress, Anxiety and Depression and Return to a State of Inner Peace and Happiness.

I hope you have a WONDERFUL day and a Happy Thanksgiving!

My Lenovo Flex 3

I love computers. But like most people who love computers I have specific things about my computer that if you change them it really annoys me. This last spring A accidentally spilled coffee on my Mac book pro keyboard. I have a Mac book pro because I got it for free, and I won’t get into why I dislike Apple as a company or its products in this post. So the coffee killed two corners of the keyboard but everything else was fine, so I did some asking around and the guys at the computer shop said it would cost $200 to replace the keyboard because the version I have is held in by almost 100 tiny little screws. I decided to hold off and see what the Windows world had for light compact laptops before making a decision.

I found the Lenovo Flex 3 14″! The Lenovo Flex is very similar to the Yoga but it’s a lot cheaper which is what I was looking for. D found a deal online for around $400 and bought it for me. I decided that now that I had a new computer I would try and fix my Mac keyboard on my own now, it has been sitting in my house ever since.

As a parent, I am obsessed with my touch screen. I have never bought into the belief that kids shouldn’t have exposure to electronics and A has had a LeapPad since he was one year old. Granted that was mostly because most unmarried geeky guy friends really have no idea what a one-year-old wants for his birthday. Bit for months he really enjoyed turning it on and off. So A is very good at using the mouse and touchpad but he still needs occasional help and he has the tendency to click out of the program he is using. With the Flex I can open abcMouse.com in Full-screen and flip the keyboard under and set it on the coffee table (with no liquids) and he can play his learning games to his hearts’ content while I go and clean the kitchen.

There are only things that annoy me about this laptop is the keyboard and touch-pad. The keyboard is small which normally would not be a problem but the touchpad is so large and offsets to the left enough that it causes me to hit the caps lock key instead of the ‘a’ key about 25% of the time. Also with the keyboard layout, I have a tendency to hit the home key instead of the backspace. My biggest issue with the touch-pad is the size. It is way to big and I have a hard time left-clicking. If my hands were larger then I don’t think I would have as big of an issue, but on the upside, it has caused me to get into the habit of touching the screen to click.

Overall, I highly recommend this Laptop especially if you are planning to allow your toddler to use it. Me I’m hoping to get a larger solid-state drive for Christmas so I can have more space.

My Miracle Morning #5

Today’s Miracle Morning:

This morning we were woken up at 4:30 am by A who did not want to snuggle for the next 30 minutes. So we got up and started our day at 4:30 instead of 5. This was after five and a half hours of sleep and my head was clear. After going through my morning ritual D and I meditated togeather and A even joined us for part of it. Guided Meditation For Letting Go ♥ Day 5.

D and I continued with a longer than usual yoga session, for a weekday, because we had the time. A joined us for parts of this as well. A has decided that he loves exercises and positions, his words for yoga. Easy Yoga For Beginners ♥ Full Body Gentle Flow.

I stopped and put tea on to steep.

I read another chapter in my current book: Meditation for Beginners: How to Relieve Stress, Anxiety and Depression and Return to a State of Inner Peace and Happiness. While reading I put my headphones in and turned on some classical music to help me concentrate with A running around.

I have decided to stick with this visualization for awhile. Me and my family having a picnic in our backyard at a house we own all happy and smiling.

Then I paused and took a shower.

Now I am sitting down to write in my journal and this post.

I hope you have a WONDERFUL day!

My Miracle Morning #4

Today’s Miracle Morning:

This morning I awoke at 5 am after about 6 and a half hours of sleep. I feel rested though a little fuzzy brained which I think is being caused by not drinking enough water yesterday and I might be fighting off a cold. Last night I had a sore throat and this morning I still had a little soreness. Though drinking fluids seem to be making it go away so I think I was dehydrated. I did get a little distracted yesterday.

My big project yesterday was to sort and file all the mail in the house. Now that might seem like a small task but I tend to avoid mail especially when I know what’s in it like a bank statement or bill I already paid online. So I had several years of bank statements mostly for D because he hasn’t yet joined the online statement movement. I joined years ago which only intensified my avoidance of mail from the bank because it must be bad if they sent a letter. Ironically I don’t get the same feeling from emails so banks should really email me anything they want me to read and not just put in a pile and then login to make sure everything is alright. But I finished! I threw out a trash bag of envelopes and junk mail and sorted and filed everything. My filing cabinet looks beautiful! I even got to use my label maker.

I was successful in getting D to get up and join me for my meditation and yoga this morning.
Meditation For Beginners ♥ Learn To Meditate
Beginner Yoga ♥ Easy Morning Yoga For A Positive Mind

I read another chapter in my current book: Meditation for Beginners: How to Relieve Stress, Anxiety and Depression and Return to a State of Inner Peace and Happiness. It is a very interesting book. Today I was reading about the different types of meditation and how color can affect our mood and thoughts.

I really liked yesterday’s visualization so I stuck with it. Me and my family having a picnic in our backyard at a house we own all happy and smiling.

I wrote in my journal and am writing this post for my scribing.

Have a wonderful day!
